There are 12 participants this month. If you get lost along the way you can see the entire list of hoppers on Rachel's Blog. Let's get started.
Today I am showcasing a variety of products turning them in to a smash/junk journal.
Smash journals can be found ready made for your convenience as the rise in popularity in craft stores such as Micheals. Before I heard of the name smash journal I knew them more by the name of Junk journal because they were made of all the random scraps and junk in your craft room or even random junk found through out the house!
The Junk journal I am featuring today is still a work in progress as it has one section in it that hasn't been worked on. It is a simplistic version of a junk journal, making this an easy to do project.

I did not accessorize the majority of the book, because part of the fun is do that as you fill the book with journaling and photos. So I generally left that for my son to do as he fills the book.

This is one of many pages that has spots prepared for photos. In this case for baking cookies!

Considering this journal is for a 6 year old I put plain cardstock on a lot of pages so he could color on them.
Below is a list of current close to my heart items I did use, they are all linked for easy shopping: (the list does not include the card stock I used, however all card stock was CTMH)

**due to the size of this project I did not put up pictures of every page. There are a few other pages shown in the video below. Please let me know if you want to see more pages done for this project.**
I have also done a quick video on this project. I will be redoing this project at a later time of day or early in the morning So I don't speed through the video to avoid interruptions as I didn't mention a few things in the video.
Now hop on over to Tonya's Blog for more ideas of using up your stash.
