Dream Pop Paper layout- disney

As I promised there would be more layouts to be shown soon of where I was finishing off the last of the pictures from a disney trip.

I have been loving the Dreampop paper and it works great with disney because it is fun, bright and busy.

This was a fun challenge for me because several of the papers in the dream pop pack are pink, and kind of scream girlie at you. So for this layout it was important to use a color that was considered gender neutral to accent with the pink.

****Only 12 more days to get this paper (Dreampop)*****

Simply make an order of $35 or more and you can get this paper pack for $10. Go HERE to place an order and get a pack of dream pop paper.

Concert Layout- Dakota

The main thing in this layout is the CTMH Dakota paper, and it's foil compliments (stickers).

For this layout I wanted to keep it simple but fun. I left space on the right page in case I decided to add the tickets to this layout, however the empty space is nice and they may go on another one. I used my cricut to make the stars using the CTMH Artiste cartridge.

with the foil compliment accents being very thin, I decided to first attach it to cardstock, then cut around it. From there I added 3d foam tape so I could stick pins behind it.
The strip in the middle of the right page is the top strip of paper I cut off of the paper I was using.

Using my Stash- Ruby Rock-it

This stash project is a layout thats has been needing to get done for some time. It was from the first time I took my boys to Disneyworld. I had about 4 layouts that just never got done for that trip, and I finally sat down one day and got them finished. (you should be seeing them over the next couple of days) So since they were older pictures and fun and bright I looked around in my stash to see what would compliment that.

This layout was made using CTMH cardstock, and Ruby Rock-it paper (minus the honeycombs that was a random sheet I found.)

The bottle cap was a leftover I found from a CTMH kit, and the arrow is from the Ruby Rock-i collection.

Technique Blog Hop- Fabric

Welcome to our Technique Blog Hop! This month there are 7 of us highlighting the use of fabric on a project. This blog hop is a great big circle so you can start wherever you want and continue through to see all the fabulous artwork incorporating this technique.

If you are coming from Debi's Blog, you are on the right track!

For this project I made a layout and a card showing two different ways to use fabric in your projects.
In both of these projects I used the Dream Pop paper available through Close To My Heart only during the month of May!

In this layout I used the fabric as a ruffle to accent a photo.
In this layout I used Glitter Glitz on the cork alphabet numbers to make them shimmer.
For the ruffle I simply used glue dots as I made folds to hold it in place.
On this card the fabric was used as the background coloring. This allowed for a base design as well as giving the card different texture.
